Die Bildinformation ist reduziert auf das Meer, den Himmel und eine Seiltänzerin, die auf der Höhe des Horizontes auf dem Seil hin und her balanciert, sich darauf legt und wieder aufsteht. Aktivität und Passivität wechseln sich ab.
Endlos führt sie dies fort, immer wieder nähert sie sich der Waagrechten, immer wieder liefert sie sich der Gefahr des Sturzes aus.
Ihre Handlungsmöglichkeit ist auf den minimalen Raum des Seils reduziert, dieses bietet ihr Schutz, engt sie gleichzeitig ein. Mit jedem Schritt entscheidet sie sich neu, ihren Weg zu gehen.
Der Horizont als imaginäre Linie, als Symbol der Grenze, die sich immer weiter entfernt je mehr man sich ihr nähert, wird umspielt.

The only things visible in the picture are the sea, the sky and a tightrope dancer, balancing back and forth on the tightrope on the level of the horizon, lying down and getting up again. Activity and passivity alternate.
She does this endlessly, approaching the horizontal state, exposing herself to the risk of falling.
Her options for action are limited to the minimal space of the rope, providing comfort and limiting her at the same time. Every step equals a new decision to pursue her course. It all plays about the horizon, the imaginary line, as a representation of a borderline that backs away the more you approach it.
